As Accounting Manager/Controller, you will direct and oversee the financial administration of contracts for the organization including the preparation of financial reports and forecasts for future business growth and results. Works in conjunction with the CFO to ensure the financial integrity of operations. Specific functions include, but not limited to, financial reports, overseeing payroll, accounts payable, cash receipts, and billing. Applies generally accepted accounting principles, the regulations of the federal acquisition register, and the modified cost accounting standards for contract accounting. This position is remote.
Desired Job Experience:
Master’s Degree in accounting or business administration with emphasis in finance and accounting or the equivalent combination or education and experience is preferred, but required for future promotion. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required. CPA or CMA preferred. Experience is managing and administering government contracts preferred. Experience with Deltek’s Costpoint or other project costing system preferred. Proficiency is MS Office. Power BI/Power Query experience is preferred.
