HQI’s infection preventionists recently attended the APIC Virginia Annual Educational Conference. Deb Smith, MLT (ASCP), BSN, CIC, CPHQ, led preconference sessions and Mary Locklin, MSN, RN, CIC, presented a conference session. Betsy Albee, BSN, RN, CIC, FAPIC, and Susan Moeslein, MSA, BSN, ACM, CIC, participated as attendees.

APIC-VA works to influence, support and improve the quality of health care through the practice and management of infection control and the application of epidemiology in all health settings.
