Last month, HQI team members Dianne Kaschak and Lynne Layug brought an engaging Escape Room experience to healthcare staff across Maryland, including Essex and Columbia.

This free, interactive training offers a fun and immersive way to reinforce essential infection prevention and control practices, such as hand hygiene, personal protective equipment usage, and cleaning and disinfection.

During the training, healthcare workers and environmental services staff solved puzzles while demonstrating proper handwashing techniques and the correct way to put on and remove personal protective equipment.
