Project Firstline is a free infection control training program offered by the Maryland Department of Health, featuring free public webinars and private sessions tailored to the unique needs of each healthcare team. All sessions feature CDC-developed content on various infection control and prevention topics.
In support of this initiative, HQI is proud to partner with the Maryland Department of Health to deliver engaging and impactful infection control trainings across the state. HQI’s MD Project Firstline team is currently scheduling free Escape Room training sessions for healthcare facilities, including senior living communities, across the state. These interactive sessions are designed for healthcare teams and environmental services/housekeeping staff in healthcare settings, offering a fun and engaging way to reinforce critical infection prevention and control practices.
In less than one hour, participants will:
- Solve infection control-themed puzzles as a team
- Practice proper hand hygiene
- Demonstrate correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Review key cleaning and disinfection concepts
This immersive training builds skills and boosts teamwork while reinforcing core competencies.
