The Health Quality Innovators team is proud to recognize Older Americans Month, a national observance celebrating older adults and their contributions to our communities.

Through our Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) work, our team partners with nursing homes, hospitals, physician offices and community organizations throughout Virginia, Missouri, Kansas and South Carolina to help them deliver quality health care to Medicare beneficiaries.

As part of its Health Quality Innovation Network (HQIN), team members provide resources, training and data analysis to participating organizations. HQI’s consultants work to improve outcomes for older adults such as reducing avoidable hospital readmissions, preventing opioid misuse and increasing vaccination and immunization rates.
