Each October, we observe American Pharmacists Month to acknowledge and celebrate the significant contributions pharmacists and their teams make to health care. Designated by the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), American Pharmacists Month is a dedicated period to acknowledge the invaluable impact pharmacists and pharmacy team members make in their communities.

Pharmacists, as medication experts, ensure patient safety by providing therapy management and preventing adverse effects through education, health promotion and chronic disease management. As critical members of the health care team, pharmacists improve patient care and public health.
