HQI team members Dianne Kaschak and Lynne Layug recently delivered an Escape Room training to 35 staff at Sterling Care Frostburg Village in Maryland.

Sterling Care provides short-term inpatient rehabilitative services, skilled nursing care and long-term care services to their residents in the beautiful Appalachian highlands.

This free training experience provides a fun way to learn infection prevention and control concepts such as hand hygiene, source control, personal protective equipment, and cleaning and disinfection.

In addition to healthcare workers, staff from environmental services and administration solved puzzles and demonstrated proper hand washing and donning/doffing of personal protective equipment.
