This April, the Office of Minority Health (OMH) invites communities across the nation to observe Minority Health Month 2025 under the theme “Advancing Commitments to Eliminate Health Disparities.” This annual observance highlights the importance of addressing health inequities that disproportionately affect racial and ethnic minority populations.

The OMH encourages organizations to adopt culturally and linguistically appropriate services (CLAS) to better serve diverse communities. By considering cultural backgrounds, health literacy levels and preferred languages, we can create healthier outcomes for individuals and families.

Throughout the month, OMH will provide resources, training and opportunities for collaboration to support efforts in reducing health disparities. For more information and resources, visit the Office of Minority Health website.
