The United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is committed to making our communities safer and healthier by reducing overdoses and overdose deaths. Twice a year, the DEA encourages community partners to participate in a “Drug Take Back Day.”

These events allow consumers to dispose of unneeded medications properly. The next national Take Back Day will be held on Saturday, April 22. Visit the DEA’s website for collection sites, as well as educational resources about substance use disorder and the drug overdose epidemic in the United States.

Download and print HQI’s promotional flyer to help share details about the next Drug Take Back Day and how to find collection sites.
